I write because I want to empower women to navigate anything that may stand in our way. We are strong and powerful, but I know we don't always know it or feel it. There is no straight forward path and our journeys will look wildly different, but I write because I want women to take the journey, or keep on the path, or finish it to start something new and meaningful. I hope my work inspires women around the world to re-examine our lives and realize the power of our choices. Then use that self-understanding, courage, and strength to become who we want to be.
I am the proud wife of an amazing husband and mother of two incredible and hilarious young children. Originally from Wisconsin, I am now an official Washingtonian after 14 years living in *DC proper.*
No Water For the Desert is my debut novel. My second newly released novel is Nothing Left.
(You have no idea how wonderful it is to say all of this.)
