I write because I want to empower women to navigate anything that may stand in our way. We are strong and powerful, but I know we don't always know it or feel it. There is no straight forward path and our journeys will look wildly different, but I write because I want women to take the journey, or keep on the path, or finish it to start something new and meaningful. I hope my work inspires women around the world to re-examine our lives and realize the power of our choices. Then use that self-understanding, courage, and strength to become who we want to be.
I am the proud wife of an *amazing* husband and mother of two *incredible and hilarious* young children. Originally from Wisconsin, I am now an official Washingtonian after 10 years living in *DC proper.* (That term is a big deal in these parts and must be earned.)
No Water For the Desert is my debut novel.
(You have no idea how wonderful it is to say all of this.)
